Compare the best web browser 2015

The best web browser for your office might be one you do not use. If Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera or Safari your current choice, our tests have found distinct differences in speed and ease of use. We also compared how each browser uses a system’s resources, practically invisible feature that could discreetly bog down your PC. For online lifestyle, proper browser could save you time and frustration.

See how they work
Browsers largely resemble and act the same way: they translate the HTML in multiple tabs or separate windows, let you bookmark pages, support the transfer of HTTP and FTP file, or offer a private browsing (no data is kept) . Further, however, exist operational differences which may or may not meet your needs.

Opera has a long and well deserved reputation for being fast, but does not reflect all the pages correctly. HTML layout patented pulse change to WebKit free and widely used (currently version of 537 with Chrome) made it a thing of the past.

Internet Explorer has a reputation of being exploited by bad boys, for his immense popularity and ActiveX technology. Microsoft to recognize: the Trident layout engine was largely improved, adopted standards, and improved security. IE is not something I would advise users to avoid.

Firefox, IE a serious competitor for many years, and Chrome is a newcomer powerful. Since Safari was installed with iTunes for years, many Windows users have the, but have never tried - probably because Apple has never given him a real Windows appearance.
I would compare the browser performance and resource use as well as the features and ease of use.

Chrome (WebKit 537): Stable and fast

chromeGoogle’s Chrome browser has quickly gained traction against longtime rivals such as Internet Explorer.

Many people use Google’s Chrome browser because many people use the search engine Google. Chrome is fast and generally reliable. It was my first choice for many years, in part to its superb text to speech option called SPEAKit! I used to read the articles. Recently, however, he revealed a tendency to play audio and video portion of some popup windows without actually show the popup. It is an interaction with Adobe Flash Player, which is currently also affects Firefox.

BrowsermarkChrome posted the score Browsermark fastest browser in our comparison tests.

We do not deny the speed of Chrome: he scored 5773 points Browsermark taken 150,4ms to complete SunSpider and scored 5627 points Peacekeeper. These are two first places and a third. To achieve these results, however, it uses a lot of memory and separates the process: 775MB and 14 processes in practice, test new tabs. And there was nothing special is going on the tabs.

cpuChrome is one of the fastest browsers for HTML translation, but it generates a lot of process to succeed.

In addition, relatively simple options such as changing home page are distinctively intuitive. You can even have the feeling that Google does not want you to change things. Another problem with Chrome, Opera, and IE as well, is that it generates a number of processes, making it harder to close it when things go wrong.
Small issues aside, Chrome is still a browser advanced option thanks to its stability and speed.

Firefox 36 (Gecko): Beautiful appearance, fast operation
Firefox
Firefox is the long-standing rival of IE which displaced the Microsoft browser monopoly for years until Chrome has appeared to “help”. It is fast and very reliable. Despite a long memory leak that forced the occasional reboot, it was the browser I have recommended it to many users to prevent malware attacks that have affected both IE.

The memory leak in its translation engine Gecko and Firefox seems to have disappeared recently received an update that was radical enough to annoy longtime users (there is a way to bring back the old menu).

I like the new look and is more intuitive than all other browsers to safeguard pages and change options. Firefox also has a wide range of options, including one of the best video downloader, the cleverly named DownloadHelper.

Firefox was the slowest among the browsers we compared in Browsermark, yet his score was still decent.

In our performance texts, Firefox clearly won his third place overall; he earned 4540 points BrowserMark; It took him to complete SunSpider 134,4ms (better than Chrome or Opera); and scored 3956 points Peacekeeper.
The feeling is slightly slower than Chrome and Opera, but not enough to bother. It uses less resources than Chromeou Opera, generating only a simple process, and using only 510MB of memory. Only the super-efficient Safari used less memory.

Internet Explorer 11 (Trident)
ie-1
IE remains extremely popular and useful - just for the fact download your choice of browser with a Windows installation. It is quite fast with HTML, Javascript very fast and reliably support pages.

Also, for its ActiveX technology, IE is sometimes easier to use with sites related to business such as Webex and HTML IT or consoles like Kaseya. These sites can seamlessly integrate their functionality in IE. With other browsers where you sometimes have to download and install an extension or a background application. The Windows User Account Control can extend this process, so in a snap, I often change to IE.

Browsermark-3

IE has not completed BrowserMark a problem noticed only after a recent update, but it has a score of 3670 on Peacekeeper. Most notably, it took him just 74,1ms to complete SunSpider, making it easily the fastest browser to use Javascript.

Unfortunately, this is monopolizes each end memory than Chrome and Opera are using 714MB in my test new tabs. Moreover, he used “only” 7 process, half the WebKit Chrome and Opera.

Opera (WebKit 537)
OperaAmong the browsers we compared, Opera worth a visit for its easy configuration.
After a long and dark period of bad pages loaded, Opera is now close to perfection in this regard. I say this even after uninstalling it there a few months of its incompatibility with our own web tools. The updates were homogenized these glitches, and it is hardly slower than Chrome.

Unlike Chrome and Firefox, Opera 23 does not suffer from invisible popups. It uses the same Webkit engine and operates as process, and it is more difficult to stop. It also lacks a home button, and has in place a launch page displaying the sites often used (Speed Dial).

Opera-23In our browser comparison using Browsermark, Opera was almost as fast as Chrome.

Speed Dial is great if you work out of several sites, but it adds another step for those working from a single page. My complaint: there are no native function to e-mail a link to a page. You must install an extension for this feature.

For rendering HTML, Opera trailed only slightly by Chrome with a rating of 5625 and 5447 BrowserMark on Peacekeeper. He was a bit faster Javascript, ending the SunSpider test 150.1ms. Overall, you’d be hard to notice the difference between the two browsers based on 537 WekKit in a grip.
Despite the list of minor complaints, Opera browser is currently my main job, because it is almost as fast as Chrome, but easier to configure.

Safari (WebKit 534)

safari

Among the browsers we compared, Safari is easy to use and works with very low processing load.

Although King on Mac, Safari is probably the least popular of the best browsers on Windows - a little sad, because he is competent, easy to use and light on memory profile. Apple has apparently stopped supporting Windows since the 5.1.17 version, but we still tested for its efficient use of memory.

And “efficient” is underestimating the case. It generates a single process and during a test performed during the handling, opening new tabs, required only 115 MB of memory for display. What happened between the 534 WebKit as Safari uses WebKit and 537, the current choice of Chrome, and Opera is quite amazing. The latest deals are much faster but take a lot of resources.

safari-1Safari got slower noted that most other browsers Browsermark but is still quite energetic.

Safari could be very useful on older systems with only 512 MB or 1 GB of memory. It has all the standard features found in the other, so you will sacrifice anything.

The performance was decent Browsermark and Peacekeeper: 4831 and 3062, respectively. It is delayed in the SunSpider JavaScript test, with a score of 179.9ms.
Meilleur-Navigateur-1In our browser comparison, the Browsermark test showed fairly similar performance with all products (except IE, as Browsermark took no load).

Test results
To evaluate each browser rendering performance, we operate the Browsermark of Rightware and HTML5 tests Futuremark Peacekeeper and SunSpider Javascript benchmark on.

If you want the browser faster for rendering HTML - by far the majority of shares carried a browser - you have the choice between Chrome and Opera. They both generate a large number of processes and memory to perform this task. Of the two, I would choose Opera for easier overall configuration.

Meilleur-Navigateur-2
In our overview of browsers, Chrome 36 managed to have the best time on Peacekeeper, while Safari was almost twice as slow.

If Javascript is a priority, Internet Explorer is by far the fastest to run it. IE uses the same amount of memory or about half of Chrome and Opera processes.

A big shout-out to Safari that used to much less memory to introduce these new tabs. If you work on a computer with only 512 MB or 1 GB of system memory, its efficient ways could be useful.

However, if I had to pick one browser I had to keep on my system, it would be Firefox. It is quite fast, it has a smoother interface, it uses much less memory than Chrome, IE and Opera, and it is generally easier to use.

Meilleur-Navigateur
Internet Explorer has emerged as the fastest browser in the SunSpider JavaScript test, Safari twice as slow.

Performance and memory usage can be questionable if your needs go beyond the ordinary, in this case, the browser you choose as your pillar can come to the add-ons.
Fortunately, all browsers we tested are competent, free and export and import of bookmarks, you can use any or all of them. Yes, life is good in the world of browsers.
