Firefox 36 (Gecko): Beautiful appearance, fast operation

Firefox is the long-standing rival of IE which displaced the Microsoft browser monopoly for years until Chrome has appeared to “help”. It is fast and very reliable. Despite a long memory leak that forced the occasional reboot, it was the browser I have recommended it to many users to prevent malware attacks that have affected both IE.

Internet Explorer 11 (Trident)

Among the browsers we compared, Opera worth a visit for its easy configuration.

For rendering HTML, Opera trailed only slightly by Chrome with a rating of 5625 and 5447 BrowserMark on Peacekeeper. He was a bit faster Javascript, ending the SunSpider test 150.1ms. Overall, you’d be hard to notice the difference between the two browsers based on 537 WekKit in a grip.
Despite the list of minor complaints, Opera browser is currently my main job, because it is almost as fast as Chrome, but easier to configure.

Safari (WebKit 534)

Among the browsers we compared, Safari is easy to use and works with very low processing load.

Although King on Mac, Safari is probably the least popular of the best browsers on Windows - a little sad, because he is competent, easy to use and light on memory profile. Apple has apparently stopped supporting Windows since the 5.1.17 version, but we still tested for its efficient use of memory.

And “efficient” is underestimating the case. It generates a single process and during a test performed during the handling, opening new tabs, required only 115 MB of memory for display. What happened between the 534 WebKit as Safari uses WebKit and 537, the current choice of Chrome, and Opera is quite amazing. The latest deals are much faster but take a lot of resources.

Safari got slower noted that most other browsers Browsermark but is still quite energetic.

Safari could be very useful on older systems with only 512 MB or 1 GB of memory. It has all the standard features found in the other, so you will sacrifice anything.

The performance was decent Browsermark and Peacekeeper: 4831 and 3062, respectively. It is delayed in the SunSpider JavaScript test, with a score of 179.9ms.
In our browser comparison, the Browsermark test showed fairly similar performance with all products (except IE, as Browsermark took no load).

To evaluate each browser rendering performance, we operate the Browsermark of Rightware and HTML5 tests Futuremark Peacekeeper and SunSpider Javascript benchmark on.

If you want the browser faster for rendering HTML - by far the majority of shares carried a browser - you have the choice between Chrome and Opera. They both generate a large number of processes and memory to perform this task. Of the two, I would choose Opera for easier overall configuration.

In our overview of browsers, Chrome 36 managed to have the best time on Peacekeeper, while Safari was almost twice as slow.

If Javascript is a priority, Internet Explorer is by far the fastest to run it. IE uses the same amount of memory or about half of Chrome and Opera processes.

A big shout-out to Safari that used to much less memory to introduce these new tabs. If you work on a computer with only 512 MB or 1 GB of system memory, its efficient ways could be useful.

However, if I had to pick one browser I had to keep on my system, it would be Firefox. It is quite fast, it has a smoother interface, it uses much less memory than Chrome, IE and Opera, and it is generally easier to use.
